The Club
The Rotary Club of Brisbane High-Rise was chartered on 4 June 1993 with 27 members. Over the past 17 years, the Club has grown and now has over 50 active members.
The current membership is comprised of professionals from a diverse range of business and industry backgrounds.
Our Club prides itself on the diversity of our membership which has a balance of both male and female members, as well as young and seasoned professionals.
As we are a Breakfast Club, we also offer a convenient and friendly 'make-up' opportunity for Rotarians visiting Brisbane. We regularly welcome visiting Rotarians from other parts of Queensland, interstate and overseas.
The Venue
Our Club meets every Thursday morning, usually in the Dining Room, on the first floor, of the Brisbane Polo Club (see photograph below). Arrival is from 7:00am with breakfast
and meeting commencing at 7:30am. Meetings conclude at 8:30am sharp. Visiting Rotarians are extremely welcome.
Please note: Minimum dress standards apply. The Brisbane Polo Club dress
standards are smart casual or business attire. The use of mobile telephones during meetings is prohibited.
Occasionally meetings are held in other rooms at the Brisbane Polo Club. See noticeboard just inside the main entrance for meeting location on the day.

The Club Leadership Team
The Club Leadership Team (Board) provides, and oversees, the direction of the Club's activities throughout the year.
The Board comprises our President, Past President, President-Elect, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer and six Directors.
We have six committees dedicated to the coordination of Club Administration, Membership & Fellowship, Public Relations, Service Projects, The Rotary Foundation and the development and support of Future Leaders (Young People).
Each Club committee is chaired by a Director who reports to monthly Board meetings. The Board also holds 3-4 Club Assemblies each year at which each Director reports to our membership.
