PayPal For Club Members
Members can now use PayPal to pay for their Breakfast meetings,
Subscriptions, Fines and Other items over the Internet. Your payments are processed via PayPal. PayPal is a
common and secure means for facilitating payments. You may use PayPal to pay by
credit card even if you do not have a PayPal account.
Simply click the drop down list below to see the options. Choose your desired
option, click the "Pay Now" button and follow the prompts. Note a small PayPal
processing fee has been added to the purchase price of Option 1 and 2.
PayPal will automatically notify the Rotary Club of Brisbane High-Rise that you
have made a payment.
PayPal will send you a confirmation email. Please print a copy of the emailed receipt and give it
to the Club Treasurer at your next available opportunity as proof of purchase. A
credit card transaction will appear on your statement as PAYPAL *"ROTARY CLUB".
Important: During the payment process on the "Review your
payment" page, please specify the
precise nature of your purchase
in the "Add special instructions to the Seller" field. For example: "Breakfast
payment for Thursday 11 November 2011." (Ensure you click the 'Save'
button).

Please note PayPal deducts a small fee to process any transaction; around 2.4%. So for example, to receive the usual $30 for breakfast, we have to charge $31.05 (Australian Dollars) via PayPal. Apologies/Visitor Notification
Members who are unable to attend meetings, or who are bringing guests are asked to notify the Club via the Apologies/Visitor Notification email, by 9am each Wednesday. This assists with catering arrangements. The Apologies/Visitor Notification email link can be found towards the bottom of the Contact page. You will be sent an email confirming your message has arrived.
Make-Ups Notification
Members who are doing a Make-Up are asked to notify the Club via the Make-Ups Notification email. The Make-Ups Notification email link can be found at the bottom of the Contact page. You will be sent an email confirming your message has arrived.

District 9600 - Governor's Newsletter

Our Club is part of Rotary District 9600. This District covers a large geographic and culturally diverse area including Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and designated parts of South East Queensland.
Our District Governor, Mr Eric Wood, provides a valuable insight into Rotary activities throughout our district each month in his newsletter. A copy of his newsletter can be found at the Rotary District 9600 Website.
Rotary Theme 2011 - 2012
Each year the theme of ROTARY is changed. This includes a new logo and slogan.
The current theme is " REACH WITHIN TO EMBRACE HUMANITY".

"Serving the heart of Brisbane". Our club logo depicts a hot air balloon gliding over the Brisbane River with the CBD as a backdrop. Hot Air is also the name of our weekly bulletin.
